Kleptz Earns All-Ohio Honors

DEFIANCE, OHIO  --  Defiance College sophomore men's soccer player Nick Kleptz (Troy) added to his list of postseason awards with a third-team All-Ohio selection by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).  [All-Ohio Teams]

Kleptz was the lone representative amongst Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schools located in Ohio following a season that saw him lead the team in five statistical categories, including goals (eight), points (17), game-winning goals (four), shot percentage (.381) and penalty kick goals (three).  He also had one assist to round out the offensive scoring.  

His eight goals this season, put him in a tie for third in the HCAC.  Kleptz was third on the team in shots (21) and second in shots on goal (14).  Kleptz recorded one game in which he scored two goals in a 2-1 win against Saint Vincent (Pa.) College on Sept. 6.

Also following the season, Kleptz was tabbed honorable mention All-HCAC for the second straight year.
