Men's Golf Takes on Ohio Cup Field

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Defiance College men's golf team took to the road Saturday to compete in the Ohio Cup at Red Hawk Run Golf Course. 

The one day, 36-hole tournament saw Hayden Clingaman (Stryker / Stryker) pace the way for the Purple and Gold. The junior shot a 79 in round one before following up with an 84 in round two on Saturday afternoon. The Stryker native's 163 landed him 62nd in the large Ohio Cup field. 

Anthony Keehn followed up in the Yellow Jacket order. Keehn shot a 93 and 92 in the two rounds, landing 87th at the end of the day. 

The Defiance men's golf team will return to action on September 17 as they make the journey north to the Cleary University Fall Invitational. Play is set to begin at 9:00 am.
