DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College men's golf team earned the 18Birdies Team Academic Award announced Friday afternoon.
To be eligible for the GCAA All-Academic Team honor a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
The Yellow Jackets earned All-Academic Team honors for achieving a 3.0 or better and were one of 34 Division III teams and one of three teams in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference to garner this honor.
The men's golf team rounded out the 2017-18 season with a seventh place finish at the HCAC Conference Tournament and captured six top-five finishes.
