Men's Golf Host Defiance Invitational

DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College men's golf team finished third of 13 teams at the Defiance Invitational hosted at Eagle Rock Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. 

Senior Alex Miday (Canton/St. Thomas) paced the way for the Yellow Jackets finishing tied for 10th in the 85-golfer field with a 75. 

Freshman Hayden Clingaman (Stryker) posted a 16th place finish shooting a 77, while junior Stephan Dolan (Painesville Twp.) finished tied for 24th with a 78 and junior Drake Moening (Defiance) tallied a 31st place finish with a 79. Senior Adam McGinnis (Bloomville/Buckeye Central) rounded out the scoring for the Yellow Jackets shooting an 89. 

Heidelberg won the team title with a 294, while Miami-UH took second shooting a 304.

Defiance College returns to action Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20 as they host the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio.
