DC stays in fifth after round three
DEFIANCE, Ohio – DC held strong in fifth place in round three of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The top four Yellow Jackets combined for a 326 to stay in fifth.

The 326 shot from DC was also the fifth best score of the day.
Leading the way for DC in the third round was Mike Ross (Bryan, Ohio / Bryan) with a 77. It was the best round he has had in the HCAC Tournament and puts him tied for 13th place heading into round 4.
Also tied in 13th with a total of 238 strokes through the three rounds is Jake Tinsley (Kettering, Ohio / Eaton). He sits with Ross with a +24 for the three rounds.
Zach Weber (Ottoville, Ohio / Ottovile) tied for his best round of the tournament. He shot an 83, which he also shot in round one. Weber is tied for 28th heading into round four.
Rounding out the scoring for the Yellow Jackets was Hurst Talbott (Columbus, Ohio / St. Charles Prep). He brought in an 84 for the day. Talbott participated for DC for just the first time in the HCAC Tournament.
DC is five strokes ahead of Franklin heading into the final round tomorrow. Tee time is set for 8:30 a.m. at Eagle Rock Golf Club.
