DC golf takes seventh in Kenyon Invitational
HOWARD, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets wrapped up the Kenyon Fall Invitational with a seventh place finish. DC shot a team total of 679 for the two day invitational.
HOWARD, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets wrapped up the Kenyon Fall Invitational with a seventh place finish. DC shot a team total of 679 for the two day invitational. Eight teams competed at the par 72 Apple Valley Golf Course.
Mike Ross led the way once again on the weekend, posting a two day total of 164. That was good enough for a tie of 23rd place for the invitational.
Derek Lucas finished second on the team for the second time this season. Lucas shot an 83 and an 84 for a two day total of 167.
Finishing in third for the Yellow Jackets was Hurst Talbott, coming in with a 171 on the weekend, including an 83 on Saturday which ties his season best.
Rounding out the scoring for DC Zach Weber who put up a 177. Ricardo Girona also played for Defiance this weekend and finished with a 180.
Allegheny College took both the team win (608) and the individual winner (145) shot by Oliver White.
