Neal Leads Defiance at MSJ Spring Invitational
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Defiance College wrapped up the two-day, ten-team Mount St. Joseph Spring Invitational on Sunday, ending with a team total of 712 and a ninth-place finish. Jace Neal carded a two-round total of 166 to lead the Jackets with his 21st-place finish.

Brian Jones finished behind Neal and narrowly missed out on a top-30 showing, shooting a 172 to end in a tie for 31st overall, while Jared James (185), Matt Gehring (195) and Greg Vogt (196) rounded out the Defiance lineup.
The host MSJ squad took the team and individual championships, winning the team crown by 11 shots over Transylvania. Dean Kruschinksi claimed medalist honors for the Lions with a 149.
DC will host the Defiance Invitational on April 10 and 11, with the action beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday at Kettenring Country Club.
