DEFIANCE, Ohio – The National Association of Basketball Coaches is the latest to recognize Defiance College’s Anthony Pettaway for his outstanding 2008-2009 campaign, after recently naming the senior center to its Second-Team All-Midwest District Team.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s Anthony Pettaway was recently named as a Third-Team All-Midwest Region selection as announced by D3Hoops.com. The award was the second year in a row that Pettaway has been named all-region by the website.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Defiance College’s Anthony Pettaway has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Male Athlete of the Month for February, after leading the Jackets to a third-place finish in the league standings and their third-straight appearance in the HCAC Semifinals.

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – Anthony Pettaway poured in 15 points to help fuel Defiance’s 82-69 win over Manchester on Saturday and became the 19th player in DC history to eclipse the 1,300-point plateau for a career.

Defiance Prevails in Miller's Return to Weaner Center

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance picked up its sixth-straight win over Hanover on Saturday to complete its third-straight season sweep over the Panthers on the hardwood. Jon Miller, who orchestrated the previous two DC sweeps from the Jackets’ bench, could not stop it from happening a third time, as the Jackets pulled out a 50-47 win.
