Former Defiance College Product Set to Coach in Super Bowl
DEFIANCE, Ohio - A Defiance College alumnus will play a big role in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on Sunday, February 3. Don Martindale, inside linebackers coach for the Super Bowl-bound Baltimore Ravens, graduated from Defiance College with a bachelor’s degree in business education after playing linebacker with the Yellow Jackets. His coaching career began as an assistant at DC in the late 1980s.

Watch the Coressel Stadium Turf Get Installed in 48 Seconds
DEFIANCE, Ohio - A time lapse video of the completed field turf project at Justin F. Coressel Stadium in now available. The installation of the turf can now be viewed from start to finish in a 48-second video containing daily photos taken from an online web cam located inside the stadium press box.

DC Football Ends Season with Double Overtime Defeat
BLUFFTON, Ohio – Defiance used a 32-yard field goal with two seconds left in regulation to match Bluffton at 17-17 and capped a 17-0 spurt by striking for a touchdown in the first overtime session for a 24-17 lead, before ultimately suffering a 27-24 loss in the second overtime period.
