Kuesel powered the ground game for the North All Stars, by rushing 15 times for 55 yards. Both totals were team highs for the North, which ended with 139 yards on 44 carries during the exhibition contest.
The North jumped to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, before the South All Stars rallied for a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter and put the game away with a fourth-quarter strike to secure the 21-7 win.
Kuesel's showing marked the second-straight year that a Yellow Jacket had excelled in the Senior Bowl for the North. Kyle Longsdorf capped a, 19-16, North victory in 2011, with a game-saving interception in the end zone in the closing moments.
The 2012 game marked the end of an outstanding collegiate career for Kuesel, who racked up 2,357 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns over four years with Defiance College. The Patrick Henry High product played in 36 contests for the Jackets during his four years and was an All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standout in each of his final two seasons.
