Kuesel capped the drive and the scoring with a four-yard plunge into the end zone with 49 seconds remaining in the game.
The Patrick Henry High averaged 7.0 yards per rush on the afternoon, en route to a season-high 161 yards and a career-best four touchdowns. The 100-yard effort was the fifth in Kuesel's career on the gridiron with Defiance and the four scores upped the senior's career tally to 19.
Kuesel joins Rick Powell and Tony Sierra as the third Jacket to be recognized with an HCAC weekly award in the past three weeks and is the second-straight to do so on the offensive side of the ball, following Powell's accolade for his efforts in a 26-10 win over Earlham on October 15.
The Jackets (3-4, 3-2 HCAC) will travel to Rose-Hulman (3-4, 3-2 HCAC) on October 29 in search of their fourth win in a row. The game is set to begin at 1:30 pm.
