DC's Scott and Cessna Tabbed as Preseason All-Americans

Scott earned First-Team All-HCAC status in 2010, after leading the league and ranking 34th in the nation with 8.5 sacks from his defensive end position. Scott also set new career highs by picking up 47 total stops and 12.0 tackles for negative yardage, while anchoring Defiance's front line.
Cessna was also a First-Team All-HCAC selection as a junior, after serving as a key blocker in the powerful ground attack of the Yellow Jackets. Cessna developed into a threat in the passing game as well, setting career highs with 14 receptions, 126 receiving yards and a pair of touchdown catches.
Scott, Cessna and the Jackets will get the 2011 campaign underway on Saturday, when they host Muskingum at 1:30 pm inside of Justin F. Coressel Stadium. Fans not able to attend the game can watch all the action at www.DefianceAthletics.com/video, beginning with a pre-game show at 1:00 pm.
