Defiance Puts 20 on Tom Bohlsen Academic All-HCAC Team

In order to be named an Academic All-HCAC selection, a student-athlete must have completed one full academic year, be enrolled full-time at their institution, be a varsity athlete and possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 at the end of the semester preceding the conclusion of the fall season.
Defiance's group of 20 student-athletes to garner the honor ranked the Yellow Jackets as one of six league institutions to post at least 20 award winners, ranking DC ahead of Hanover, Anderson, Earlham and Bluffton. Rose-Hulman led the conference with 37 honorees for the second fall semester in a row.
DC's standout student-athletes included James Buari, Josh Fellows, Spencer Munger, Ian Rollison, Ricky Sherrer, Matthew Johnson, Gene Snyder, Trisha Denniston, Katie Heitkamp, Anna Kusz, Amanda Notley, Matt Rohlf, Ellen Stryffeler, Samantha Stevens, Heather Bradshaw, Julie Brunsman, Lindsay McDaniel, Jessica Tietje, Phoenix Golnick and Taylor Tuttle.
