Foos will enter his senior season on the heels of a standout performance in 2009, which saw him be named First-Team All-Ohio by OhioCollegeFootball.com. Foos also netted his second All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference nod with a Second-Team All-HCAC selection.
The Helena, Ohio, native planted 23 of his 71 punts inside the 20-yard line during his junior season, set a career high by averaging 38.9 yards per boot, sailed six of his punts over 50 yards and forced 14 fair catches to anchor the special teams unit for the Yellow Jackets one year ago.
Foos and Defiance will open their 2010 campaign on September 4 with a 1:00 pm start at Muskingum. DC will play three-straight road contests to begin the season, before hosting Franklin on September 25 in the home opener at Justin F. Coressel Stadium.
