Along with a game-high 12 total tackles, in which eight came via the solo variety, Snyder added five pass breakups, one interception and a quarterback hurry. Snyder also made a pair of game-saving plays on AU's final drive of the afternoon. Snyder chased down a Raven receiver at the DC 18-yard line to prevent a touchdown in the final minute and then batted down a pass in the end zone with four seconds remaining in the game to help preserve the Yellow Jacket victory.
Snyder also etched his name in the Defiance College record books by picking up four assisted tackles and running his career total to 169. Snyder surpassed Donny Mutters' (1988-1991) previous record of 168 to claim the top spot.
The award in the third national weekly honor received by Snyder in his career at Defiance College. Snyder was also named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week last season and garnered the Don Hansen's Football Gazette Player-of-the-Week award on Sep. 14, 2006.
