Esports wins another GLEC playoff match in League of Legends
DEFIANCE, Ohio – On Tuesday night in League of Legends, Defiance College esports won its second straight Great Lakes Esports Conference playoff match, beating Muskingum University, 2-0, in a best-of-three series. Defiance’s victory avenges a 2-0 loss to Muskingum three weeks ago on March 16.

"The boys are extremely hyped to be able to come back after losing to these teams in the regular season," DC head coach Chris Sanders said. "We don't know when it will be, but our eyes are set on Marietta now to secure a fifth-place finish in the GLEC after finishing in last the previous semester."
Damon Thomas led the Yellow Jackets with 43 takedowns while Stephen Jones had 42. David Andrew chipped in with 35 takedowns.
Defiance moves on in the GLEC playoffs to face Marietta College. The match has yet to be scheduled but may take place this weekend.
