Esports concludes regular season with League of Legends loss to Trine

DEFIANCE, Ohio – On St. Patrick's Day, Defiance College esports concluded its regular season of play in the Great Lakes Esports Conference with a 2-0 loss to Trine University in a best-of-three League of Legends match on Wednesday night.

Leading the way in takedowns for Defiance was Stephen Jones with nine. Damon Thomas had seven takedowns and David Andrew six.

The Yellow Jackets now enter the GLEC Playoffs in League of Legends against Manchester University. The date and time of the playoff match has yet to be determined but will be played by March 27.
