Esports’ League of Legends team concludes fall season in GLEC playoffs

"It was a really close match," Defiance head coach Chris Sanders said.
After dropping the first game, the Yellow Jackets won the second to force a third and deciding contest, but finished short of capturing the series and extending the season.
DC totaled 247 takedowns in the match, led by 58 from Stephen Jones. Haider Hasan followed with 51 takedowns while Michael Eddins tallied 47, Damon Thomas 46 and Dakota Swift 45.
The Defiance League of Legends squad ends the fall with a 1-6 record and will continue play in the GLEC during the spring semester. Tiffin advances in the playoffs with a 3-5 mark.
