The Defiance baseball team was swept by Earlham in an HCAC doubleheader on Wednesday evening.
Game One
- Sophomore Trent Murdock and junior Josh Vischer each had two hits.
- Senior Nate Kaffenbarger drew three walks.
- Freshman Jacob Hild had a hit, drew a walk, and scored two runs.
- Freshman Timmy Bobek recorded his first career hit and RBI.
- Caleb Frank took the loss for Defiance.
- Andrew Bradley homered four times and drove in 10 runs for the Quakers.
Game Two
- Murdock had two hits in the second game as well.
- Senior Lucas Thomeier scored two runs.
- Sophomore John Hammerstein took the loss.
- Bradley had four hits for Earlham and drove in two runs.

- Defiance will host Franklin in an HCAC doubleheader on Saturday with game one beginning at 12 pm.
