Woodley Set to Speak at ABCA Barnstormers Clinic

DEFIANCE, OHIO - Head Baseball Coach Derek Woodley is set to extend his coaching knowledge to other area coaches in conjunction with the American Baseball Coaches Association's Barnstormers Clinic held in Dayton, Ohio on September 7. 

Woodley is no stranger to working with the ABCA, as last spring he was featured on the associations "Calls from the Clubhouse" podcast.

The Barnstormers Clinic is a one-day coaching clinic for baseball coaches of all levels. Geared towards youth, academy, high school and travel coaches, the clinic is a beneficial way for baseball coaches of any level to enhance their knowledge of the game. 

Alongside Coach Woodley there will be a cast of reputable coaches and speakers including representatives of Wright State University, Miami University, Sinclair Community College, the New York Yankees and Denison University. Each speaker will focus on a different aspect of the game using fundamentals, drills, and coaching tips that can be used for teams of all levels. 

ABCA members can attend the Barnstormers Clinic for free. Non-ABCA members can register for $55, which includes a 2019-20 ABCA membership.
