Defiance Baseball Announces the Addition of Austin Straub

DEFIANCE, OHIO – The Defiance College baseball team has announced the addition of assistant baseball coach Austin Straub.

Straub comes to Defiance after serving as the pitching and catchers coach for Keystone College as well as the Brewster Whitecaps (Cape Cod Baseball League) in Brewster, Massachusetts.

While at Keystone College, Straub helped manage the pitching staff, implemented strength training as well as provided video analysis of both pitchers and catchers. In addition, the New York native served as a recruiting coordinate bringing in talent that helped lead Keystone to three straight conference titles, three NCAA regional berths and a National Runner-Up finish at the 2016 NCAA Division III World Series.

Straub is a 2015 graduate of Keystone College, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Science.
