Bio

Kathleen Westfall is the Associate Athletics Director/Compliance Coordinator and Senior Woman Administrator.  Kathleen began her career at Defiance in August 2002 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer before transitioning to her new role in August 2021. 

Westfall's current duties at DC include overseeing all aspects of NCAA Compliance and Student-Athlete eligibility.  She is also responsible for NCAA and EADA reports, Title IX compliance, nominations for student-athlete leadership programming, game operations, and a co-advisor for SAAC. 

In 2002, Westfall completed her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in athletic training and exercise physiology at Ohio University in 2000.
