Bio

Matt Slattman is an assistant athletic trainer for Defiance College. He returned to his alma mater in the summer of 2018 after previously serving the athletic department from 2012-14.

At DC, Slattman currently works with the men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's outdoor track and field teams.

In Defiance, Slattman has worked for Mercy Health and ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital. He has also been the athletic trainer for area high schools in the past.

Slattman earned dual bachelor's degrees in athletic training education and wellness and corporate fitness from DC in 2010. He resides in Continental, Ohio, with his wife, Lindsey, and three boys: Frynn, Liam and Hugh.
